I don't have Delphiniums because I've always been told they want take the heat here in the South. Maybe you have a varitey that's better suited to out heat, that happens sometimes. Do they ever have seed?
I really do not know much about Delphinium. I sure hope they take the heat. This is my first year with them, and right now they are really pretty.
I had them less than a month when living in GA, but the chipmunks...made tunnels through the root system. I love to watch chipmunks, and think they are very pretty. However, chipmunks and gardens do not go together.
